How to effectively eliminate bags under the eyes?

While the causes of bags under the eyes may be genetic, it is worth taking a look at our health and lifestyle. In this case, it is important to focus on what may be causing the problem. So what should we look for? Experts point to several issues where we should evaluate how we take care of our health:

  • rest and avoidance of stress – the basis of the fight against bags under the eyes is to avoid excessive stress and make sure to adjust the pace of life to your capabilities;
  • length and quality of sleep – getting enough sleep at night is important. It is important to get enough sleep and not to wake up frequently;
  • stimulants – cigarettes and alcohol definitely contribute to the appearance of bags under the eyes. Although smoking should be stopped completely, in the case of alcohol, it is enough to avoid drinking large amounts;
  • proper diet – it is extremely important to drink more water as well as eat a healthy diet. Nutritionists suggest limiting salt, sugar and processed foods;
  • cosmetics – do not use the same cosmetics for too long. It is worth throwing away expired products so as not to transfer bacteria, e.g. from mascara to the eyes;
  • grooming – make sure you wash your makeup off gently and with great care. It is important not to transfer cosmetics to the eyes, so that they are not irritated.

How to treat dark circles and bags under the eyes

Sometimes it may happen that following the above methods only partially solve the problem of dark circles and bags under the eyes. In this case, it is worth reaching for a variety of creams to combat this annoying problem. In the case of creams, it is worth trying, among others, such products that inhibit the accumulation of water under the eyes. Here an excellent solution is a cream with the addition of caffeine (egg white and coffee mask works perfectly as a home method). It is also worth reaching for a cream with parsley extract, which is excellent not only for women but also for men. If you decide to use a cream, it is necessary to choose a gel cream, which will be massaged into the eye area.
