A morning on the run? You can do this makeup in 5 minutes

It takes approx. 4 minutes to read this article

A busy woman does not necessarily mean a neglected woman. Sometimes it’s hard to find the time to do the perfect makeup, so I’m sure you just happened to give up on it.

However, with proper organization and preparation of your skin the day before you can do a quick and effective makeup in 5 minutes. Check out how to do your daily makeup in just a moment!

Daily skin care

Preparing your face well for makeup is essential. To ensure that your morning makeup is quick and perfect and that your complexion doesn’t look dull and overworked, start with daily skincare in the evening

Never go to sleep with makeup on! First, do a thorough makeup removal and cleanse your complexion after a tiring day. Use a facial cleansing gel, micellar liquid or a makeup remover so you can do it with just water

After cleansing, apply a toner and a cream with moisturizing and nourishing properties. In the eye area, gently pat on a special eye cream to reduce the appearance of dark circles. Once a week, apply a nourishing face mask and exfoliate to remove dead skin. If you take care of your skin this way in the evening, makeup will be easier to apply in the morning.

Make-up in 5 minutes – what do you need?

If you want to do your makeup in 5 minutes, it is essential to prepare the right cosmetics the day before. You will need:

  • a BB cream that matches your skin tone,
  • eye concealer,
  • concealer to cover imperfections,
  • an eyebrow pencil with a brush,
  • blush or bronzer and the right brush,
  • eye shadow in light colors,
  • black mascara,
  • lipstick in a natural color.

These cosmetics are enough to create an everyday makeup look that will cover the imperfections of your skin. Prepare and arrange them in the place where you will do your makeup in the morning.

Make-up in 5 minutes – step by step!

Step 1: Moisturize, protect, even out skin tone

In the first step take care of moisturizing, protecting against ultraviolet radiation and evening out your skin tone. BB cream is perfect for the first two tasks

Squeeze a small amount onto your hand and apply it all over your face. Pay special attention to the lip area, but don’t apply too much, because BB creams oxidize and turn darker.

Now it’s time to get rid of the under-eye circles that make you look sleepy. Apply a light, creamy concealer under your eyes and gently pat it in with the pad of your ring finger. If your skin has small pimples or red pimples, use a concealer with a slightly heavier consistency. If you have a problem with broken capillaries, you’ll get a better effect if you use a concealer in a green shade

Step 2: Eyes

In the second step, apply eye makeup. Use your finger to lightly blend your eye shadow so that the effect is not overdone. Be sure to choose the right color for your skin.

If you have dull skin you may choose peachy eyeshadow, fair skin will look beautiful in vanilla, while those with olive skin will look good in warm pink shades. Finish by mascaraing your lashes carefully so that no lumps remain and no mascara residue gets trapped under your eye. You can use a waterproof mascara that won’t crumble during the day.

Step 3: Eyebrows

Well-groomed eyebrows enhance your beauty. First brush them in one direction and fill them in with eyebrow pencil. Don’t fill them in completely and don’t apply too much eyebrow pencil to avoid a caricature effect. You can also use pomade or eye shadow to fill in your brows.

Step 4: Cheeks

Now add glow and freshness to your skin. With 5 minutes of make-up time you have to forget about contouring and highlighting but you can easily dust your cheeks with a blush or bronzer brush.

Step 5: Lips

In the last step, take care of your lips to make them look moisturized and nourished. If you want your lipstick to last all day, line them with a lip liner. But if you’re pressed for time, finish off with a moisturising lipstick in a neutral color.

That’s all. Your make-up is ready
